Cimex Inc. Pvt. Ltd., the sole authorized distributor for (Build Your Dreams) BYD vehicles in Nepal has launched the all-new second-generation e6 in the Nepali market. The all-new BYD e6 comes at a price of Rs. 57.50 lakh and is available in 4 color options: Black/Blue (Dual Color), Green/White (Dual Color), Doctor Black, and Crystal White. An upgrade to the BYD e6 which was first launched in 2010 is the look. The front fascia is prevalently expressed with the “Dragon Face Design Language” developed by Mr. Wolfgang Egger, the Head of Design at BYD (formerly Head of Design at Audi).
BYD had set a new industry benchmark with one of the single greatest innovations of the automotive industry the Blade Battery. The Blade Battery is a new generation Lithium Iron Phosphate Battery that sets new benchmarks in Safety, Reliability, Performance, and Power Density. BYD with years of experience in Battery Technology developed the Blade Battery by addressing the most important prerequisite for any new or existing EV owners, Safety and Efficiency.
Equipped with the 71.7 kWh Blade Battery Pack the all-new e6 features a range of 522km (WLTC) range in a single charge making it the Longest Range Electric Vehicle (EV) in Nepal at least on paper. The 70 kW electric motor offers a torque of 180 Nm with smooth linear throttle response. The all-new e6 is designed for a smooth and comfortable ride and has plenty of space in each compartment which is capped off with a 580 liters boot space.
Charging the All-New e6 is easy and convenient as owners are provided with multiple charging options. The All-New e6 supports both AC and DC Fast Charging, with charging time in AC Fast Charger of 2 hours (0-100% SOC) and 1 hour 10 mins (0-100% SOC) in DC Boost Charger. With the 6.6 kW home charger the All-New e6 can be fully powered up in 10 hours (0-100% SOC). The all-new e6 is the world’s first Electric Vehicle to be equipped with Bosch’s latest IPB Intelligent Integrated Brake Control System with an extremely fast response time and smooth linear braking feel. With the focus on optimizing efficiency the two modes of Regenerative Braking on the all-new e6 are capable of generating energy from as low as 2 km/h.
